Sun’s going down fast here in Cincinnati. Folds in clouds catch the last of the rays, greedy for light.

It’s been a long day. It started with the main event that drew us here, the bar mitzvah of a young relative, the second of the children of our children’s generation to undergo this ritual.

It continued with the celebratory lunch and plenty of catching up with relatives who had come from all over the country. Last I saw them all together like this was at a wedding.

Late afternoon had us cooling off at the pool at the University of Cincinnati’s Recreation Center. Which explains the paucity of this post in terms of information or poetry … All that water washed the words away. Simple as that…
