dreaming in the shadows of the Sleeping Maiden

Mt. Tamalpais, July 18, 2012

Mt. Tam glimpsed from traffic light at the corner of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and Bon Air Rd. in Greenbrae

A few left turns today, all of which left little time to go chasing after images of Mt. Tam, be they pictures or the ones evoked by words.

It’s nearly dark now, on this eve of a new moon. A slim band of light cleaves the ridge of the mountain to the outer lip of the dark bowl of the sky. I have neither equipment nor the ingenuity to capture that view for a post.

Well then, there is nothing much to see here today. Better to move on to some other, brighter corner of the blog universe. Besides, according to the astrologers, this is the time to batten down the hatches, to go hide in the cave, to be left alone… Or maybe, just maybe, I worked out just a tad too hard once again in spin class….
