about the project

This blog is a project to take a picture a day of Mount Tamalpais, probably the single most identifiable symbol of Marin County, California.

I am not a professional photographer, nor a dedicated amateur. A fan of the mountain, as well as grateful for its presence in my line of vision most days, except when fog or rain obscure it, I just like to capture some of the fleeting ways in which it presents itself.
