Mt. Tam, camera shy in the new spectacle of rain, impossible to glimpse from Greenbrae

The rain seemed hesitant this morning, unsure if it was welcome, but by afternoon made itself at home. All the while, the mountain stayed shrouded, its peaks folded in layers of the watery brightness of clouds. Those who would happen on this landscape for the first time today will be in for a surprise when the sun returns, bringing with it the green frieze of the mountain, like an afterthought.
