In the morning, the mountain went in and out of view with the gathering and flight of clumps of clouds. What happened after that, I don’t know. I was too far out of range to see the ridges. At twilight on the way back to Marin, there it was for a moment: the familiar outline of the mountain — and then, night came.

    Love this image of Mt. Tam…
    The blue of the sky just makes that red light pop & everything just looks so fleeting.
    Yesterdays post was a fabulous image too, both of the shots have a really painterly quality.

    ‘A year of Mt. Tamalpais’ is just such a great idea… would be fab to see all the images together next January in a retrospective.
